Job Accountabilities:
• Support the development of a completions and operations verification and acceptance strategy to be approved by the partners.
• Support this strategy with an execution plan that is fully aligned with phase I construction and handover plan.
• Prepare the initial start-up and operating procedures including preservation and training requirements.
• Support the Project to Operate strategy and plan with clearly stated handover requirements for Hardware and OR&A to match Start Up Verification Certificate, (SUVC).
• Review the engineering design to identify any changes necessary to minimize the commissioning/hook-up time and /or costs or schedule.
• Contribute to the development of the Integrated Commissioning and Start-up Plan and be responsible for the implementation of the Commissioning/Start-up portion of the plan.
• Develop manpower plans, (incorporating operations staff), and identifies procedures, equipment and material requirements to execute commissioning and start-up.
• Assist in the development of integrated commissioning and start-up logic for all commissioning and start-up activities, which is to be integrated in the overall logic. Assist in building a Commissioning plan and schedule from logic and integrate into overall schedule.
• Contribute to the development of test protocols for commissioning and required procedures for execution of the same.
• Contribute to the definition of resources required, (manpower, materials, means, vendor support), and enable realization of the same for the commissioning activities.
• Contribute to the definition of resources required with regards to commissioning/start-up/operations and maintenance requirements, procedures, spares, operating & maintenance manuals
• Ensures all interfaces are, from a start-up perspective, identified i.e. Pipelines, telecoms, Power generation and well intervention as well as ensuring requirements are compatible across interface boundaries.
• Review requirements of self-verification, electronic transfer, QA/QC are embodied in the systems and procedures developed to manage all commissioning and start up activities

Competences:
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with international staff and mentor local staff
• High level of computer literacy
• Proactive approach to the decision making process
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or similar
• Minimum 3 years of Oil and Gas industry experience
• Experience in HPHT well operations/production
• Track record within Operations organisation during start up of treatment Plants
