Work Pattern: 28/28

Duties:
• Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding mechanical systems and equipment;
• Demonstrated understanding of planning and scheduling methods
• RoK Blue book certified (training and assessment will be provided if required);
• Medical Certificate of Fitness;
• Valid BOSIET Certificate (Basic Offshore Safety Induction& Emergency Training) or equivalent;
• Previous experience in Caspian Area would be beneficial.
• Understanding of applied equipment, tools and PPE required for Mechanically related activities
• Knowledge of HSSE risk assessments as related to each Mechanically related activities, as well as relevant safety rules and warning & protection measures
• Demonstrated understanding of maintenance and inspection execution methods
• Demonstrated understanding of vessel and piping cleanout methods, as well as access and access control methods
• Experience in de-commissioning/commissioning and isolation/de-isolation methods
• Experience in working within a Permit To Work system, especially as related to reviewing/including permits in work packages
• CMMS experience in work order management, material management, and external services management
• CMMS knowledge and experience
• Computer literate fluent in both spoken and written English
• Skill in communicating clearly and concisely both written and verbal

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Planning for executing the routine, preventative and breakdown Mechanical maintenance and Inspection activities according to the relevant Company and Statutory safety requirements, ensuring they are adhered to in all activities;
• Site verification of all equipment relevant to work pack and completion of work pack checklist by coordinating the compilation of all required checklist items.
• Planning for the execution, testing, adjustment, and repair of all activities related to mechanical equipment, according to the relevant procedures and recommendations, in respect of time scheduling;
• Submitting of necessary information, log sheets and reports regarding progress of work packs completed and any identification of any issues preventing completion;
• Ensure completed work permits are attached to work packs, and accurate with an adequate risk assessment and that all safety precautions are outlined in the work pack prior to any work intervention on the facilities;
• Ensure that all Mechanical maintenance and Inspection activities are planned with the best working practice and in respect with scheduling programs;
• Identifying materials, tools and spare part requirements needed to carry out the activities;
• Ensuring the provision of adequate resources to carry out activities e.g. special tools and materials for the technicians and/or additional specialist maintenance support;
• Performs preparation of work packages without instruction / supervision

Requirements:
Diploma / Qualification in Mechanical engineering.
Knowledge of common modes of failure applicable to large industrial equipment packages and ancillary equipment as a build on RCA reference.
Minimum 4 years related maintenance experience working in an oil & gas industry
Lead Technician experience and demonstrated technical supervisory performance are a must
Proven Skill in maintenance execution within discipline, especially in work planning and preparation in SAP (or another CMMS)
Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance techniques;
Experience in Pump, Compressor and Turbine packages
Knowledge in construction and installation of piping, machinery, equipment, valves and vessels
Workshop machinery knowledge on use of drilling, grinding machines, lathes etc.
