Requirements:
At least 5 years of Finance Director or other experience in a senior finance executive role preferably in extractive industries; excellent knowledge of international accounting standards and Kazakh tax legislation; proficiency with Excel and accounting software are a must
ACCA/CPA/CIMA/CFM and fluency in English are advantages.
Duties:
• Responsible for all accounting and tax matters of the Company
• Providing guidance on accounting and financial reporting in accordance with IFR standards
• Maintenance of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports in accordance with the stakeholders’ requirements
• Provide analysis of financial statements and management reports
• Responsible for preparation of financial and operating short-, medium- and long-term plans consistent with shareholders’ objectives, including budgeting and forecasting
• Development and implementation of internal control over financial reporting and operating and capital costs
• Responsible for treasury function, including, but not limited to monitoring and reporting on the Company’s cash flows and forecasts, provision of financing, and other cash-related issues
• Coordination of quarterly reviews and annual audit of the financial statements and tax inspections
• Optimizing tax payments, observing the compliance with the tax legislation, consulting on taxation issues
