Position description & purpose
Retail Analyst is responsible for ensuring a systematic review of the business at the Local Sales Unit level, via a comprehensive meeting structure and cadence, focusing on actions needed to address gaps and opportunities. In addition, the individual will be responsible for integrated reporting of sell in, sell thru and sell out data as well as consolidated reporting of lead indicators e.g. Retail coverage, share of facings etc.
The role will be responsible for measuring execution and compliance at retail as well as overall compasny competitiveness in the Local Sales Unit. S/he is responsible to lead a team to develop business programs which support the execution of the following activities at the Local Sales Unit level.
S/he will work closely with the Head of Retail and to develop and implement the programs:
1. Drive cross functional (Sales, Marketing, Logistic, Finance, Care etc) Business Management Reviews to highlight performance gaps versus target, identify opportunities, develop action plans and escalate issues for decisions making.
2. Ensure adherence to BMR cadence and ensure follow up of action plans and escalated issues
3. Ensure that all channel and retail insight needed is available for decision making to support the BMR process
4. Listen to the Shopper – ensure a consistent method of evaluation of Retail Execution
5. Sales Management Review.
S/he will ensure that best practices are identified and built into the functions, programs and platforms.
In collaboration with the Eurasia Sales Unit team, s/he will define with the support of his/her team the requirements covering sell in, sell thru, sell out, external data (e.g. GFK), lead indicators (e.g. outlet coverage), GTM execution & compliance, sales assistant recommendation etc.
Good knowledge of Excel and Access, Macros on Visual Basic
Good working skills with tables and graphs
English upper intermediate
Experience more than 1 year
